Sometimes all it takes is a coincidence to set you on a new path. For me, it was a Lomi Lomi Nui course – my first conscious encounter with the touch of other people. The resistance fell away and instead came a deep interest: How do muscles work? What can touch do? I wanted to understand more – and so I trained as a Lomi Lomi Nui practitioner in traditional Hawaiian bodywork and eventually became a medical masseuse and craniosacral therapist. Everything fell into place. And today I get to do what really fascinates me.

I meet my patients with an open heart and full presence. For me, it’s not just about applying a technique – I really want to make a difference. I listen – with my hands, my gut feeling and my experience. Sometimes my hands have a plan long before I consciously have it in my head. And that’s exactly what I love: when tensions are released, when something changes in the tissue – this “finger thriller” that can tell so much.
